Highlight:
Suan Luang Rama IX is the largest botanical garden and public park in Bangkok, covering an area of over 500 rai. It was established to honor King Rama IX. The park features a collection of plant species from around the world, a large pond, international-style gardens, and the Ratchamongkhon Hall, a commemorative building showcasing the king’s biography and royal duties. Additionally, there is the Botanic Building, which includes a herbarium and library, Geodesic Dome displaying drought-tolerant plants from arid regions around the world, the Indoor Plant House a greenhouse for indoor plants, Medicinal Plant Garden, and native plants, including rare species such as the ‘Desert Devil’ (Welwitschia mirabilis Hook.f.) a plant with unique and interesting characteristics. The park attracts visitors and nature lovers who come to relax, exercise, and explore a rich diversity of plant species in a peaceful and scenic setting.

Itinerary:
08:30 – Pick-up from Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) with a driver and guide
10:00 – Meet at the Botanic Building and enjoy refreshments
10:15 – Take a tram tour around the garden, including a visit to the Geodesic Dome
10:45 – Visit the Medicinal Plant Garden
11:15 – Explore the Indoor Plant House, featuring endemic and rare plants
11:45 – Tour the herbarium
